Students at the elementary school recently participated in a PBIS assembly focused on leadership. During the assembly, our December Cat Star students were recognized for their outstanding behavior, and winners of the PBIS Winter Pack were drawn. Mr. James and Mrs. Geyer, along with two Cat Star students, also participated in a fun Minute-to-Win-It snowball challenge, with Mr. James and his partner winning! Please continue to promote our Cat Star rules at home. We truly appreciate your ongoing support.

Students at Halifax Elementary are learning all about showing concern this month. At our monthly PBIS assembly, we celebrated our November Cat Star Kids and recognized the students who won our STEM kit drawing and a McDonald's Happy Meal. Mrs. Sauer and Mrs. Bellis, along with two stellar students, took on a Minute-to-Win-It candy cane challenge, and it was fun! We are so proud of you, keep shining, Cat Stars! 🌟🌟🌟

All week, we prepared for our 🐠Under the Sea🐠 Literacy Night at the elementary school, and it truly paid off! A huge thank you to Mrs. Crook, Mrs. Daub, Mrs. Preun, Mr. Hoover, Mrs. Hoover, Mrs. P. Miller, and Mrs. Yeager for staying after school and volunteering your time to decorate and make the building look so special for our students. We welcomed over 300 attendees, and students enjoyed a pizza dinner, a variety of reading stations, crafts, guessing games, tropical music, the PTO Book Fair, and, most importantly, lots of fun with reading!
