Congratulations to our Halifax Wildcat Marching Band on their 2nd place finish at their season-opening competition on Saturday Night! With a score of 77.9, they achieved their highest opening score of the last five years. *not pictured are the high school students who went to the Homecoming dance after the performance!

Two weeks ago, Max Engle, a senior football player from Jersey Shore High School suddenly collapsed on the field during their football game. After a weeklong battle in the hospital, he unfortunately passed away. The High School Varsity Club is asking you to show your support by wearing orange and donating a dollar for the family on Thursday, September 21. Donations can be made in Room 407 in the High School or your building secretary anytime this week.

The members of the Halifax Wildcat Marching Band were hard at work this week for their annual band camp. The students were at the school from 9:00am to 8:00pm every day this week learning music, movement, and establishing a community of hard work and teamwork. Come out tomorrow to the Athletic Field at 5:30pm to support the students as they show off their progress at their Preview Show!
