Halifax High School Cheerleading consists of students in grades 9-12. They provide school spirit through Sideline Cheer during Football and Basketball home games during the Fall and Winter Seasons. They also compete in Competitive Spirit during the Winter.

Halifax Middle School Cheerleading consists of students in 7th and 8th grades. They provide school spirit through Sideline Cheer for the middle school basketball. They also compete in Competitive Spirit during the Winter.

Typically, try-outs for cheerleading are held the end in March for the next school year.
