This morning, our high school Big Cats visited our elementary students for a "Get to Know Me" activity, a fun introduction to the mentors they'll see throughout the year. This program builds meaningful mentorship connections between our high school and elementary students, and we're excited to watch these relationships grow!

2026 HOMECOMING is here! Our annual pregame carnival runs from 5p-6:30pm, kickoff is 7pm, and the Homecoming Court will be introduced during halftime after the Halifax Wildcat Marching Band!

Halifax is seeking applicants for the position of Middle School Girls Basketball Coach. Our 7th and 8th grade program operates from late November through early February. What Are We Exploring?
Halifax is considering two possible options for girls wrestling:
🥇 Option 1: Start a Halifax Girls Wrestling Program
Establish a Junior High (grades 7–8) and High School (grades 9–12) PIAA girls wrestling program at Halifax.
🤝 Option 2: Cooperative Sport Sponsorship (Co-Op)
Partner with another public school that offers girls wrestling, allowing Halifax girls in grades 7–12 to compete as part of that program.

What We Offer Now
Our Mat Cats Elementary Wrestling Program currently provides boys and girls in grades K–6 with the opportunity to participate in wrestling.
However, Halifax does not currently offer a girls wrestling program for students in grades 7–12.
We want to hear from you! Your feedback will help us assess interest and determine the best path forward for girls wrestling at Halifax.

Bills larger than $20 will NOT be accepted at the gate.

All students must show a valid high school student ID or other form of school identification.

A screenshot or printed copy of the student's ID is also acceptable.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:
Tickets are sold at the main gate entrance. Students - $3 / Adults - $5
High school students of Steelton and Halifax are allowed to attend with proper school identification.
All children and students in 8th grade and below must be supervised by a parent or guardian. Students in this age group who arrive without an adult will not be permitted entry.
Students from all other schools must be accompanied by an adult.
No re-entry; Gates will be closed at halftime
No bills over $20 will be accepted at the ticket booth. Please plan accordingly.
Halifax will be on the Scoreboard side. Steel High will be on the Concession Stand side.

We want to remind everyone of our spectator expectations, parking and drop-off procedures, and a few important details to help everything run smoothly for our athletes, families, and community. TICKETS Individual Tickets Adults: $3 Students: $2 Ages 65+: FREE Children 5 and younger: FREE 10-Game Discount Passes Adult: $24 Student: $16 Yearly Passes Adult: $45 Student: $30 LIVESTREAMING All home regular-season contests will be livestreamed through HUDL.
