•Curriculum, Instruction, & Assessment Aligned with Standards

•Monitoring of Focused Professional Development

•Supportive Learning Environment

•High Levels of Community and Parent Involvement

Comprehensive Plan 2019-2022

The Halifax Area School District submitted our state mandated Comprehensive Plan on October 23rd, 2019.  The Comprehensive Planning process is designed to help schools develop shared goals and a shared vision through communication and collaboration.

Community input is always very important to us and is essential in the Comprehensive Planning process.  In the spring of 2019, teachers, staff, students, and families completed surveys including the HASD Parent and Guardian Survey.  Additionally, stakeholders attended one or both Comprehensive Plan Staff and Stakeholder meetings that were held on 4/16/2019 and 5/21/2019.

The School Board of Directors was presented with a summary of the plan in August of 2019 and approved the plan in October.

Please read the Comprehensive Plan Booklet or the Comprehensive Plan in its entirety and contact me with any questions.

As always, please feel free to contact me with any input, questions, or concerns.

Thank You.
