HALIFAX HOMECOMING is Friday October 3rd! A lot of fun and exciting things are happening including our ANNUAL CARNIVAL before the game, our 2025 Homecoming Court at halftime, and our two-time state champ MARCHING BAND performing post-game! We will also thank @TMobile at the end of the 1st quarter for the $6,000 to help install a new PA System in the stadium! GO WIDLCATS!

Did you know that Halifax School District has its very own cyber program? Check us out!

Our Cool Cats are making a difference at Halifax Elementary! They are gearing up with posters to hang around the school for World Prevention Bullying Day and sharing treats with our staff. Tomorrow, they have a Car Wash at the High School from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Come out and support their kind efforts with a cash donation or non-perishable food item. All proceeds will go to our food boxes for families within our district.

This morning, our elementary students came together for a PBIS assembly where we reviewed our school rules (Be Kind, Be Safe, Be Ready, and Be a Learner). Students also learned how they can earn exciting prizes while focusing on this month’s theme: Responsibility. To wrap up the assembly, our office staff selected two Cat Star students to compete in a fun Minute-to-Win-It challenge. Congratulations to Mrs. Cook and her Cat Star kids!

Halifax Girls Volleyball & Girls Soccer are teaming up to Fight Breast Cancer. The combined Pink Out store will be open until September 9th at 11:55pm. $5 from every item sold will benefit a Halifax Sports Family currently fighting cancer.
