Evaluation for Tyler James - 2025

At the Board meeting on June 24, 2025, the Halifax Area School District Board of Directors approved the annual performance assessment regarding Mr. Tyler S. James, Superintendent of Halifax Schools as per the following:

According to Pennsylvania School Code, superintendents hired on or after the fall of 2012 must be evaluated annually using objective performance standards mutually agreed upon by both the Board of School Directors and the Superintendent.

To that end, the Halifax Area School District Board of Directors and Mr. Tyler S. James mutually agreed to use the following criteria to evaluate his performance during the 2024-2025 school year:

• Governance and Board Relations,

• Community Relations,

• Staff Relations,

• Business and Finance.

Data regarding Mr. James job performance was gathered through a survey completed by the Board of Directors. After analysis of the survey data, the Board of School Directors determined that Mr. James met the performance standards for the 2024-2025 school year.
