Two weeks ago, Max Engle, a senior football player from Jersey Shore High School suddenly collapsed on the field during their football game. After a weeklong battle in the hospital, he unfortunately passed away. The High School Varsity Club is asking you to show your support by wearing orange and donating a dollar for the family on Thursday, September 21. Donations can be made in Room 407 in the High School or your building secretary anytime this week.

The members of the Halifax Wildcat Marching Band were hard at work this week for their annual band camp. The students were at the school from 9:00am to 8:00pm every day this week learning music, movement, and establishing a community of hard work and teamwork. Come out tomorrow to the Athletic Field at 5:30pm to support the students as they show off their progress at their Preview Show!

Halifax Wildcat Education Foundation - ASL CAMP 2023

Hello families and students – Volunteers are again organizing the Halifax Free Back to School Yard Sale. The event is scheduled for August 4th and 5th at the Valleys ECC. Please see the message below from Ed Dobbin, former teacher at HASD, and organizer of the project. HASD School Community, Clothing, coat and shoe donations for the Halifax Free Back to School Yard Sale are still coming into the Valleys and School Offices which is a very good thing. Please keep them coming. Now help is needed set up for the event. Student, staff, families and community members are welcome to help!
