Fall Parade!
On Friday, October 31st, we’ll celebrate with our 2nd Annual Fall Parade! Students will leave the elementary school at 9:15 a.m. to walk through the park.
For the safety of our students and staff, we ask that families park in the park area rather than at the school. The road leading to the elementary school will be closed during the parade. Please refer to the attached diagram for details on the parade route.
Students are encouraged to wear costumes, but please ensure they are school-appropriate (no blood, plastic weapons, etc.).
We can’t wait to enjoy a fun-filled morning together celebrating the season!

Did you know that Halifax School District has its very own cyber program? Check us out!

Our Cool Cats are making a difference at Halifax Elementary! They are gearing up with posters to hang around the school for World Prevention Bullying Day and sharing treats with our staff. Tomorrow, they have a Car Wash at the High School from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Come out and support their kind efforts with a cash donation or non-perishable food item. All proceeds will go to our food boxes for families within our district.

Today, we started a SchoolStore program to help our school raise money. Scan the QR code on the Book Buddy Lanyard that was sent home with your student to find out how the program works. Parents, please read over the information describing how you can participate. Your student will earn a participation prize when they return the filled-out Student Lanyard to school, and they can earn more great prizes when your family and friends help our school raise money. So don't forget to send the filled out Book Buddy Lanyard back to school, and thanks for your support.

This morning, our elementary students came together for a PBIS assembly where we reviewed our school rules (Be Kind, Be Safe, Be Ready, and Be a Learner). Students also learned how they can earn exciting prizes while focusing on this month’s theme: Responsibility. To wrap up the assembly, our office staff selected two Cat Star students to compete in a fun Minute-to-Win-It challenge. Congratulations to Mrs. Cook and her Cat Star kids!
