Hello!

I am honored to have the privilege of leading the staff and students of Halifax Middle School.

I grew up here in Halifax and graduated from Halifax High School in 2010, where I was involved in athletics, music, and Student Council. I went on to Messiah College; there I studied Middle Level Education, traveled abroad for both academics and missions, and played for the women’s volleyball team. I graduated from Messiah in 2014 and was fortunate to begin my professional teaching career at Halifax Middle School that same year. I taught 8th grade Language Arts for nine years while serving as a co-advisor for the MS Yearbook, running volleyball open gyms, and pursuing my master’s degree in Educational Leadership through Penn State. Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, leading worship at my church, and spending time with my husband, 11-month-old son, and mini goldendoodle.

Teaching still has a special place in my heart, but I am excited to support our students and staff from this new vantage point. I believe strongly in investing in our community’s youth through a quality education and look forward to helping our students learn and grow throughout their middle school years.
