We have revised our definitions of internship and work-study to meet the needs of our seniors better.
Work-study is designed for students who have already met their graduation credit requirements and want to gain real-world job experience while earning a paycheck. It lets students leave school during part of the day to work in a supervised environment, helping them develop employability skills.
In contrast, internships are meant for students who still need to earn academic credits for graduation.
