Please call or email with any questions. or or 717-896-3416 x 108 or x126

Other Local Resources:

Halifax UMC Food Pantry. 105 Wind Hill Drive, Halifax (The church located between Halifax Middle/High School and Halifax Elementary School)

Days and Hours of Operation: Monday 9-11a.m., Tuesday 4-6 p.m., and Thursday 4-6 p.m.

During this crisis we are not collecting income status. If you are in need of food, please don’t hesitate to come. That is what we are here for. However, we do require address verification.  We service families that reside in Halifax and Millersburg.  We are practicing social distancing by allowing families to stay in their cars and placing boxes in their cars and checking with them to make sure that we are giving them an appropriate amount of food.

Sheetz is proud to announce the expansion of the Kidz Meal Bagz program providing free food to help children and families in need as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Meal Bagz will be available at all 600 Sheetz locations and will be available daily, while supplies last.  The Meal Bagz include a turkey sandwich, chips and a drink. Families interested in taking advantage of the free program can go to any Sheetz location and ask an employee for a meal at the register or through the drive-through.

As we expand this program, our goal is to help feed those kids who are most in need. Through our first two weeks, it has been very hard to anticipate the demand at each store, but we are remaining connected to our communities in order to help as many people as possible. However, since this is a special item assembled by our supply chain and vendor partners, we do have limited quantities.  The program will be available for the next two weeks at which time it will be reevaluated based on community need.

Uplift Community Church of God and Isaiah 61 Ministries will be holding a drive through food distribution Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 p.m.  Each family will receive frozen meats, a few produce items and some non-perishables. This distribution will occur weekly at the same time. Located at 36 Jacobs Church Rd Halifax.  If you do not have transportation we are willing to deliver. Delivery can be set up by contacting the church at 717-827-3523

Valleys Evangelical Covenant Church 3682 Peters Mountain Road will have free meals for pick up on June 9th from 5:30-6:30 p.m.  The meal includes ham loaf, macaroni & cheese, mixed vegetables, fruit cup, and desert.  Reservations are required by June 3 and can be made by calling 717 896 3118.
