Beginning in the 2013-2014 PDE has replaced the academic report cards for school buildings and districts with the Pennsylvania School Performance Profile (PA SPP). Each school building in Halifax Area School District will have it's own SPP. From the PA SPP website:"The Pennsylvania School Performance Profile offers a web-based resource for districts/schools to communicate performance results to various constituencies and assist districts and schools in aligning and focusing resources for continuous improvement."
These reports will be published in the fall and are a reflection of the school(s) performance on the most recent school year that ended.Only schools with a Grade 11 cohort will have a calculated SPP score for 2014-2015. The SPP score is based on Grade 11 Keystone Exam banked scores. This is the score currently being published in the media and on the PA School Performance Profile website.
Schools that administered only PSSA and PASA will not receive an SPP score for the 2014-2015 school year.
An SPP score will be calculated for all schools in future years.
