We understand that athletics provdies a different level of caution due to potential contact and crosscommunal spread of the COVID-19 disease. Please refer to these resources to help navigate these risks and know that student safety is our priority.

Are spectators permitted at events? Current PA State Mitigation Guidelines limit occupancy at events. For sport specific information please refer to our Fall Sport Spectator Information above.
Are masks required? All persons are required to wear a mask as long as it is not detrimental to their health. Student-athletes are not required to wear a mask while physically active. Spectators must wear a mask at all times.
What guidelines are in place for spectators? Spectators must adhere to all social distancing ordances. This includes remaining 6 feet away from members not in your household and wearing a mask at all times.
Why are you recording practice attendance for athletes? In the case of a suspected or confirmed COVID-19 case, we will be able to do use contact tracing to determine which coaches and athletes were potentially exposed. All potential exposures would be notified in accordance with HIPPE confidentiality laws.
What if a(n) coach/athlete has symptoms of COVID-19? If an athlete begins to show symptoms during a practice, they will be isolated from others and sent home. Anyone who feels ill should refrain from coming to practice and should contact their primary care physician’s office for guidance.
