• Title I Parent Involvement Guidlines

    The Halifax Area School District is committed to the belief that all children can learn and acknowledge that parents share the school’s commitment to the educational success of their children. We define parent and family involvement as an ongoing process that assists parents and families to meet their basic obligation as the child’s first educator, promotes clear, two-way dialogue between home and school and supports parents as leaders and decision makers at all levels concerning the education of their children.

  • The Complaint Process for Private School Officials

    Under Title I, the Halifax Area School District is required to provide to eligible private school children, their teachers, and their families Title I services or other benefits that are equitable to those provided to eligible public school children, their teachers, and their families. Private school officials have recourse through the complaint process if they do not believe their eligible children, teachers, or families are receiving equitable services.
