Softball is a spring sport that is offered to girls in grades 9 - 12.  The season begins the Monday of the first full week in March and ends the end of May.  Halifax is a member of the Tri-Valley League.  Other member schools are East Juniata, Greenwood, Line Mountain, Millersburg, Newport, and Upper Dauphin giving us 12 league games.  The 8 remaining competition points come from tournaments and non-league schools.  We play both a JV and a varsity schedule.  For post season play, we are classified as AA for 2010-2012.
